This has been my favourite Indian restaurant for more than 35 years. Everything is always perfect. Whether we dine in or have a takeaway, there's always perfection each and every time. I visited Akash for their new tasting menu and was extremely impressed with the quality of their food, presentation, and an excellent service from the staff. The tasting menu was a 5-course delight of a modern take on traditional Indian flavours and was a genuinely great evening meal out with friends. Personally, my favourite was the chicken chettiyar, but the tandoori prawn with tilapia was a close second and all the meat were cooked perfectly and so tender. On top of the great taste, the menu was excellent value for a 5-course meal. A real hidden gem in Wallington and would definitely be eating here again.
